I left the casino and was not happy with my experience. I did go and speak with a manager who told me that I was permitted to vape in the non-smoking section and apologized for my inconvenience. He insisted that I still leave in which I did without incident. I politely explained that I was not smoking and provided him with information about the difference in vaping.

I was vaping in the non-smoking section at Rising Star when a security guard came and told me I was not permitted to smoke in the non-smoking section. There is no nicotine in my vape, simply a flavored liquid that is heated by a battery changing it from a liquid to gas much like water boiling on the stove. It has never been a problem that I vape in the non-smoking sections at any of the other casinos given there is no tar or ash being emitted into the air. I do not smoke but have a vape pen that I use when I gamble. We are hosted players at nearby Hollywood, Belterra, and Belterra Park casinos but, thought we would go to Rising Star for a change. Several months ago my boyfriend and I went to Rising Star. This time they moved the non-smoking area to the fourth floor and while there. Last weekend my boyfriend and I decided to give Rising Star another chance but again I had a bad experience.
